RxNote – Self-adhesive pharmacy labels

Self-adhesive labels featuring the RxNote Medication Tracker help pharmacists provide clear medication instructions and allow patients to record each dose they have taken directly on the medication packaging.

RxNote Medication Tracker Labels

The self-adhesive label featuring the RxNote Medication Tracker serves as both a pharmacy label and a medication label. It is designed to track medication intake, record doses and support medication adherence.

With a single label, the pharmacy can display its details while providing the patient with a practical tool for tracking medication intake.

In just a few seconds, the pharmacist can note the medication instructions, including the dosage, dosing times, treatment duration, instructions on taking the medication in relation to meals and the order in which it should be taken relative to the other medicines in the regimen. After taking the medication, the patient records the dose directly on the label.

By combining medication instructions with a simple dose log on the medication packaging, RxNote helps patients follow their treatment correctly and easily check whether they have already taken a particular dose of medication.

How to use the RxNote self-adhesive label

A practical tool to support correct medication use and everyday pharmacy counselling.

Watch the video to see how the pharmacist applies the RxNote self-adhesive label to the medication packaging and easily notes the dosage instructions for the patient.

The pharmacist can note:

  • the treatment start date and duration,
  • the amount of medication per dose,
  • the time or period of the day when the medication should be taken,
  • the order in which medicines should be taken when several are used,
  • whether the medication should be taken before, with or after food.

The patient then records each dose taken, creating a clearly visible medication log directly on the packaging.

Self-adhesive pharmacy label for medication instructions and dose tracking

The RxNote Medication Tracker is a self-adhesive medication label that can be applied to small, medium and large medication packs, without the need for additional apps or electronic devices.

Unlike a conventional self-adhesive pharmacy label, which is mainly used for basic instructions, RxNote includes a specially designed area for organising the medication schedule and recording doses taken.

It provides pharmacists with a practical way to reinforce verbal counselling with clear, structured instructions that remain on the medication packaging. Patients use the same self-adhesive label as a daily system for tracking their medication regimen

Structure of the RxNote label

Pharmacy details area

Customised pharmacy labels help maintain continuity between dispensing medication, counselling the patient and providing ongoing support.

The pharmacy details area at the top of the RxNote self-adhesive label is intended to display the pharmacy’s branding and can be customised by the pharmacist.

Depending on the pharmacy’s needs, the information area can include:

  • the pharmacy’s logo,
  • its name,
  • its address,
  • its telephone number,
  • its website or email address

This keeps the pharmacy’s contact details visible throughout the treatment, so patients know where to turn for additional advice or support.

Structure of the RxNote Medication Tracker

The combination of a medication schedule and dose tracking makes RxNote particularly useful for patients who take multiple medicines, follow a short-term course of treatment or manage a more complex treatment regimen.

The RxNote tracking area presents the pharmacist’s instructions in a clear, easy-to-understand visual format. It is designed to help patients understand when and how to take their medication and record each dose they have taken.

The label can include:

  • the year and month of treatment,
  • the days of the week and dates,
  • the order in which medicines should be taken when several are used,
  • the amount of medication per dose,
  • the period of the day when the medication should be taken,
  • specific dosing times,
  • instructions on taking medication in relation to meals,
  • the total treatment duration,
  • a daily record of doses taken.

The RxNote Medication Tracker is more than just another self-adhesive pharmacy label. It is a practical tool that helps pharmacists organise medication instructions and patients track their treatment every day, without additional apps or printed forms.
